Bipartisan Bridges
a series of civil conversations across the aisle

The Problem
We are more polarized now than we have been "at any time since before the Civil War."

We see people from opposite parties as our enemies, not our fellow Americans. Political violence is on the rise. Knowing someone's political party even affects our perceptions of their faces.

And to top it all off, our previous congress (118th) was one of the least productive in history. At such a critical crossroads in the history of humanity, with just two years left to take meaningful action to save the climate, and with so many other pressing issues on the table, we have no time to lose.

Bipartisanship is the key to passing laws. We need consensus, collaboration, and compromise to make progress on the key issues facing our world.

We must urgently act on our inability to work with each other. We are spending time that we don't have on arguments that lead us nowhere.

To progress, we must unify.
